The AmGood 30 in. x 18 in. Double Tier Overshelf adds two levels of stainless storage above a prep table without giving up any of the work surface underneath. It stands 32 in. high, so the lower tier clears most small equipment and the upper tier takes microwaves, containers and back-up stock.
How it mounts: the base plates wrap over the edge of your table and the shelf holds itself in place by weight - most installations need no drilling at all. If you want it permanently fixed, the plates are pre-drilled so you can bolt it straight down. Both options work; nothing has to be cut or modified either way.
Build: shelves, legs, sockets and brackets are 18-gauge type 430 stainless steel - corrosion resistant, easy to clean, and magnetic, as type 430 always is. The unit is NSF certified for commercial food service.
Where it gets used: as an expo shelf for plating, a steam table overshelf, back-of-house dry storage, or over an under-counter refrigeration unit. It is also used residentially over butcher block and kitchen islands where the industrial look is the point.
